Janet Ingram has been interested in recording people’s stories ever since she picked up a tape recorder at age seven and recorded her grandfather. Since then, she’s done oral histories, on-air radio interviews, and research interviews. As a writer, she's contributed reference biographies to print and online encyclopedias. Janet has a degree in Communication Arts and has earned a certificate in reminiscence and life story work.

Barry Alfonso has been a professional writer, interviewer and oral historian for three decades. His clients have included the John Heinz Regional History Center and the Allegheny County Bar Association. Over the years, Barry has interviewed rock stars and World War II veterans, written for magazines and newspapers, co-hosted a radio talk show and received a Grammy Award nomination for music writing. He loves helping people tell their stories.
